King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal: K1 De Ultimate Releases Date For “Timeless” Album

Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, as Kwam 1, a seasoned Nigerian Fuji singer, has been trending online since he revealed the name of his most recent album. Kwam 1 announced that despite Davido’s latest album bearing the same name as his intended project, he would release his own, “Timeless,” on April 22, 2023.

After a seven-month absence, Davido just returned with the release of his new album Timeless on March 31, 2023. However, fans of Davido have harshly criticized and dragged the Fuji musician for his announcement, accusing him of copyright infringement and plagiarism.

After revealing the name of his new album, “Timeless,” famous Nigerian Fuji singer King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as Kwam 1 or K1 de Ultimate, has become a trending topic online. Davido’s album title was allegedly copied by K1 de Ultimate, who also intended to capitalize on Davido’s current notoriety to promote his upcoming 10-track studio album. Unfortunately, the label also featured the logo of the Nigerian President-elect Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s signature emblem of infinity, or as others might prefer to call it, by other names. The broken shackles symbol also added to the criticism Kwam 1’s announcement received.

After viewing the responses online, the media contacted insiders at K1 de Ultimate to get their opinions. The new record has been in the works since 2021, according to Tajudeen, a devoted Kwam 1 fan who called the accusations false. Tajudeen stated:

“Youths of today have a serious problem. Timeless K1 had announced since 2021 and held for a reason. Na wa ooo. These small boys of today want to turn it into problems online again? Oga ooo.”
