Latto’s New Single “Sunday Service” Drops On Friday, Might Diss Ice Spice

As we headed into February, the hip-hop world was still reeling from the drama that unfolded in January. The feud between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion over the latter’s “HISS” diss track continued to escalate, with both artists exchanging barbs on social media. Minaj responded with her track “Big Foot,” which has continued to cause circles of conversation on social media.

It seems Ice Spice and Latto are carrying on the femcee feud. Latto is set to release her first solo track of the year, “Sunday Service,” on February 5th; she revealed the cover art for the single. The cover features the Atlanta-based rapper posing braless in a white tank top and dark wash jeans, with golden accessories around her neck, wrist, and fingers and a pair of hoops in her ears. She wore her hair in a curly updo, and her eyes were blacked out with a rectangular bar. What’s interesting about the cover art is that behind Latto are photos of other rap divas, including Ice Spice, Nicki Minaj, GloRilla, and Coi Leray, whose eyes are also blocked off similarly. What it means hasn’t been communicated yet, but fans have noted that Ice and Latto have not been on peachy terms recently.

As we move into February, there’s no telling what other drama will unfold in the hip-hop world—especially as we’ve already witnessed the Grammys drama over the weekend. However, one thing is clear: this year’s entertainment will keep many fans on their seats, as many are eagerly anticipating the release of Latto’s “Sunday Service” single and expecting a diss track.
