Madonna Promises “In Next Few Days” To Announce Rescheduled ‘Celebration’ Tour Dates

Madonna has been announced to unveil the new dates for her highly anticipated ‘Celebration’ tour in the coming days. The tour had to be postponed due to unforeseeable circumstances, namely the singer’s critical bacterial infection, which landed her in the ICU and caused her to miss several shows. Her manager, Guy Oseary, was the one to break the news. Madonna is expected to commence her tour in Europe this October and reschedule the North American leg for a later date.

Madonna shared a new update about the rescheduling with her fans on X (formerly known as Twitter).

“Thank you again for your incredible support and patience over the past few weeks! I’m happy to report that the re-routed tour schedule will be coming in the next few days! See you soon for a well deserved celebration!!”

Last month, Madonna was scheduled to start her 40th-anniversary ‘Celebration’ tour in Vancouver, BC, on July 15. The tour would have included stops in New York, Chicago, Miami, Washington, Houston, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. However, it was postponed. Madonna was seen at a Beyoncé concert at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, where Beyoncé gave her a shout-out.

As she danced down the catwalk wearing a sparkling pink ensemble, Beyoncé gave a special shout-out to the Queen. She also expressed her love for Queen Mother Madonna during one of the Vogue sections of ‘Break My Soul (The Queens Remix)’. The audience cheered in response.

Madonna teamed up with Sam Smith for the song ‘Vulgar’ before being hospitalized. It was also rumoured that she would work with Kylie Minogue, as stated by Minogue at the KTUphoria festival in New York.

“I would love to [collaborate] ,” “And I think now is the time. There I said it. Now is the time to do our best to make that happen.”

Recent rumours suggest Madonna may be one of the female headliners scheduled to perform at Glastonbury 2024. Co-organizer Emily Eavis has stated that she has already confirmed one female headliner and is finalizing another. Both acts are new to the Worthy Farm stage.
