Mohbad’s Death: Tosin Silverdam Sides Widow; Says All Accusations Against Her Have No Evidence
The Mohbad case is far from over, as his wife has faced a plethora of claims ranging from infidelity to concerns regarding her motivations regarding Mohbad’s wealth and assets. After Mohbad’s sad passing, his wife, Omawumi, has been the target of a barrage of allegations and doubts, some of which have even suggested that she was complicit in his demise. However, well-known media personality Tosin Silverdam has spoken out against the ongoing attacks. Tosin stood up for Omawumi, the late Mohbad’s wife, saying that the emphasis had shifted from trying to bring Mohbad justice to persistently harassing and falsely accusing the grieving widow.
He added that the rumours circulating also implied that she might have been having affairs with individuals at Mohbad’s former record label, Malian Records. In light of Omawumi’s recent loss, he questioned whether it was appropriate for netizens and other social media personalities to continue heaping accusations at the bereaved. In his address, Tosin Silverdam emphasized the lack of concrete evidence to back up these accusations and noted that the apparent bullying campaign against Omawumi had overshadowed justice for Mohbad.
In addition to VeryDarkMan’s assertions, the widow is coming under more scrutiny because of inflammatory allegations made by those claiming to be close friends of Mohbad who request for her to be questioned more over the star’s death. Another came forward to complicate the story further, claiming that the couple quarrelled occasionally. It was even questioned if Mohbad was really his child’s father. After DNA testing, it was established that the child’s genealogy belonged to Mohbad. But internet users kept speculating, notably mentioning that the baby might have belonged to someone else—possibly Sam Larry, a major suspect in Mohbad’s murder. Tosin Silverdam took to social media and voiced his concerns on Instagram, highlighting how the accusations levelled against Omawumi had become excessive, and netizens had a few things to say in the comments sections as they reacted and shared their viewpoints.
