NewJeans And Silica Gel Take Home Triple Wins At The 21st Korean Music Awards

The 21st Korean Music Awards (KMA) ceremony was a historic day for the K-pop industry and beyond, with a breathtaking display of talent and accomplishment. Showcasing names that have influenced the musical landscape in the last year, the celebration honored the exceptional achievements of musicians from a variety of genres and took place at Prism Studio in southern Seoul.

With three trophies apiece, NewJeans and rock group Silica Gel were the biggest winners of the evening. Song of the Year and Best K-pop Song for their smash song “Ditto,” as well as Best K-pop Album for “Get Up,” were won by NewJeans, a K-pop girl group that has been making waves since their debut.
