Otedola’s 10 Dollar Entertainment Group Endorses Two Artistes, Readies To Invests In Entertainment Industry
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of 10 Dollar Entertainment Groups, Mr Muyiwa Otedola, has disclosed to the media that the company intends to invest in the Nigerian entertainment sector to help it compete advantageously with its worldwide competitors. According to the CEO of 10 Dollar Entertainment Group, up-and-coming musicians represent the industry’s future in various ways; therefore, supporting them is a component of the company’s ambitions.
Otedola announced the company’s intention to enter a multi-million dollar entertainment contract through public-private partnerships during a news conference in Lagos. He claimed that one of the company’s goals is to support emerging artists who are the industry’s future because they will work in many different areas. Otedola emphasized that the company’s focus on supporting emerging artists is driven by their potential to bring fresh perspectives and innovation to the entertainment industry. He further highlighted that by nurturing these talents, the company aims to foster a thriving ecosystem that encourages creativity and pushes boundaries in various artistic domains.
In his opinion, these consist of writing songs, marketing, branding, writing scripts, producing, directing, taking photos, editing videos, and doing audio-visual work. He stated,
“I have supported several popular artists in the industry, and I have promoted, raised and exposed thousands of up-and-coming artists to the spotlight through the regular shows I organised. I have been supportive to the up-and-coming artistes in the area of providing musical content, promoting their songs, and organising street shows for them, to exhibit their talents to the world. I will not relent in my quest in promoting up-and-coming artistes to the world and also taking Nigerian entertainment industry to the next level. I like to deal with up-and-coming artists because they are the future of the industry, ”
He added that the business had backed and endorsed two upcoming musicians. According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Otedola -who is the relative of business mogul and multi-billionaire Femi Otedola, popularly known as “10dollar,” has secretly sponsored upcoming artists for the past six years but now wants to reveal his grand ambitions of being a major player in Nigeria’s music and entertainment space. Queen Staphire and Iboy MP are the fortunate artists he most recently backed; their singles will be released on September 1, with marketing and promotion to follow.
