Porno For Pyros Ready For Farewell Tour; Releases New Single ‘Little Me’
Ahead of their forthcoming farewell tour, Porno For Pyros has released their most recent track, “Little Me.” Little Me is the follow-up to the band’s last album, Agua. The upcoming EP by the band, which is scheduled for publication at some point this year in advance of the group’s tour, will include both of these tracks. Later this month, the trio—Distefano, Farrell, and Stephen Perkins—will start a 16-city tour. They will begin the tour at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California, on February 13 and travel around the United States. After that, Porno For Pyros will make stops in a number of cities, including Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, and New York City, before concluding their tour on March 10 at the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, New Jersey.
With Jane’s Addiction’s initial breakup, Porno for Pyros formed in 1992. Their last album, “Good God’s Urge,” was released in 1996. Reunited on stage for the first time in twenty-six years, the band replaced Jane’s Addiction for the Welcome to Rockville Festival in 2022. Afterwards, they played a small-scale Lollapalooza in Los Angeles, a big stage gig at the festival Farrell organized, and another headline set.
