Portable And His Producer’s Conflict Revealed In Leaked Online Chat

Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, also known as Portable, a Nigerian street-pop sensation, has recently gained attention after a leaked online discussion with his longtime music producer, Billyque, came to light.

The singer’s first international cooperation with British rapper Skepta was allegedly made possible thanks in large part to Billyque, with whom Portable has had a working relationship for more than two years. Still, there appears to be a growing amount of friction between them. Portable claimed Billyque was setting him up for a terrible show in the intercepted conversations that became public on Thursday, May 9.

Furthermore, Portable claimed Billyque was plotting to hurt him with fellow music business figure Sam Larry. Portable made it clear that he had no personal grudges against anyone and that his only reason for being in Kenya was to perform. Billyque, however, denied Portable’s allegations and insisted that he didn’t mean any damage.

He clarified that his actions were intended to discourage Portable from interacting with Sam Larry online. The chat that was leaked reveals a rift that has developed between Portable and Billyque, highlighting the obvious strain in their relationship.
