Stonebwoy Slated To Perform At The 13th African Games’ Closing Ceremony

The 13th African Games in Accra will feature a performance by Ghanaian sensation Stonebwoy.

The performers scheduled to appear at this year’s African Games closing ceremony have been announced by the organizing committee for the 2023 competition. The artists who are performing are a wide range of talented individuals from throughout the continent. Afro dancehall sensation Stonebwoy, is one of the stars on the star-studded list.

Wiyaala, Innoss’b from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Emma’a from Gabon, and Stanley Enow from Cameroon will also be performing. March 23, 2024 is the planned date of the closing ceremony, which will take place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

Commencing on March 8, 2024, the African Games 2023 has been a great success thus far. Famous musicians from Ghana, including Pat Thomas, King Promise, Ebo Taylor, and Shatta Wale, gave riveting performances during the opening ceremonies. Dancer and singer Kamo Mphela from South Africa added some flair.

Over the course of its existence, the thirteenth African Games has featured exciting feats of athleticism and talent, with five thousand outstanding athletes and coaches from fifty-five African countries vying for titles in twenty-nine different sports.

Additionally, Stonebwoy recently performed on stage with Grammy Award-winning artist Angelique Kidjo during her 40th anniversary concert at the Royal Albert Hall. In front of a lively crowd, the two performers gave a performance of their joint track Manodzi, which highlights the resiliency and diversity of the African culture.
