Summer Walker Announces Upcoming EP ‘Clear 2: Soft Life’ At Dreamville Festival

Summer Walker revealed during her J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival performance that her new EP, “CLEAR 2: SOFT LIFE EP,” will be released on May 19. The album will follow her four-track EP “CLEAR,” which was a precursor to her debut album, “Over It,” released in 2019.

The singer unveiled the album’s cover art depicting her pregnant belly. She also teased the audience with an untitled new album cut. Summer Walker’s website is the only place to pre-order the forthcoming EP.

Summer Walker is well-known for her success on TikTok, where her tracks, including “Karma,” “Shame,” and “Girls Need Love (Remix)” featuring Drake, have found new success after being used on the platform.

The artist gave birth to twins in December and was recently featured as a standout performer on LVRN’s Home For The Holidays Vol. 2. Summer’s version of “Santa Baby” is among the tracks on the album, which also includes dvsn, 6lack, Baby Tate, Alex Vaughn, and others.

Summer’s debut record, “Over It,” debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. With 154.7 million on-demand audio streams for the album’s songs, it was the biggest streaming week ever for a female R&B record.

Summer recently published her Amazon Music Live EP Summer Series, which includes live performances of fan favorites. Summer also put on a stellar show last summer, starting with her sold-out show, A Hot Summer Night, in June.
