The Disabled Street Hawker Who Defrauded Brain Jotter Explains His Female Disguise
Eniola, the Osun State hawker who received widespread notice from an encounter with skit maker, Brain Jotter, has come clean on his gender, making it clear he is male and not female. Eniola boldly announced his true gender in an Instagram live video in response to a sharp reversal of support from Afrobeats Superstar, Davido, and initial sponsor, Brain Jotter.
The hawker went into more details about his cross-dressing, stating that he preferred to dress up like a woman in the hopes of getting help from the general public. According to him, years of unrelenting work, during which he felt overlooked by others because of his gender, frustrated him and pushed him into disguising as a woman to change that narrative.
Eniola was selling bottled water on the streets of Lagos when Brain Jotter saw him and was moved to help. According to the content creator, he was headed to a video shoot when he bumped into him. After having an emotional conversation with the crossdresser, Brain Jotter gave him N400,000 so he could launch his makeup company.
Of course, Brain Jotter had no idea the boy was actually a boy dressed as a lady. After the comedian’s footage of the encounter went viral, it triggered even Davido to want to assist.
