Itel announced the A60, a 4G smartphone, as its most affordable to date, according to the company. The phone has partnerships with nine carriers in 17 African nations.
The itel A60 is an Android 12 Go Edition smartphone with the most pride in its 6.6″ IPS Display screen, which has a resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels (20:9). The touch sampling rate is 120Hz, and the screen runs at 60Hz. In addition, it has a 5MP selfie camera built in. Its 8MP primary camera, depth sensor, and fingerprint reader are located on an island on the back. Security can be performed using the reader or the selfie camera.
The Unisoc SC9832E, a straightforward 28nm chipset with four Cortex-A53 cores and a Mali-G820 MP1 GPU, powers the Go Edition software. It has 32GB of storage, 2GB of RAM, and a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 128 GB.
A 5,000mAh battery within the phone offers up to 8 hours of web browsing or almost as much time for streaming videos. The phone has a dated microUSB connector and a 3.5mm jack-up top for wired connections. One can select from the hues Blue, Black, and Green.
Price seems to be the final topic of conversation. On the company’s Indian website, the itel A60 is offered with a 6,000 INR price tag. Also, it goes for GHS 774 in Ghana and NGN 48,350 in Nigeria.
This is merely a representative list; the A60 is available internationally on MTN, Orange, Airtel, Vodafone, AirtelTigo, Moov Africa, Telma, and Movicel. A free screen replacement should be included in the pricing for the first 100 days after purchase. In addition, a complimentary SIM card with some 4G data should be provided with the phone.
