The Nigerian singer-songwriter had previously stated that his new album will be released on January 20, his birthday, but now January 26, 2024, has been confirmed as the actual release date. The lyricist apologized for the wait on social media.

A variety of musicians, including Patoranking, Falz, Phyno, and Cobhams Asuquo, appear on the tracklist of the 17-track “The Chorus Leader” album. With the forthcoming release of the new album, the gifted singer also guaranteed an incredible musical experience.

However, while the highly awaited third studio album bides its time before getting released, the award-winning vocalist released his most recent single, “Men of the South” to whet the appetites of his loyal fan base. The single which was produced by the acclaimed Masterkraft, features Dakolo’s heartfelt lyrics and soulful vocals.
