Tobi Bakre, Asake, Veekee James And Victor Fatanmi Emerge Winners At The Future Awards Africa 2023
At the 2023 edition of The Future Awards Africa (TFAA), awardees were Asake, Victor Osimhen, Hilda Baci, Tobi Bakare, and Veekee James. The ceremony’s theme was “defying odds, inspiring greatness” and it took place on Sunday night at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos’ Federal Palace Hotel.
Vee Iye, a reality TV public figure, and James Gardiner, a TV host and actor, served as the event’s hosts. Young people between the ages of 18 and 31 who have achieved great things in their various industries are honored by The Future Awards Africa.
Victor Fatanmi won the award category for Technology, Veekee James got the prize for Fashion, Tobi Bakre won the prize for Acting, and Omonhinmin Ilooise won the prize for On-Air Personality.
The Future Awards Africa is a distinguished awards ceremony that honors young, inventive, and varied Africans between the ages of 18 and 31, who are making a difference via innovation, social enterprise, and social good.
The sensational singer Tems won the music award at the 16th edition of the awards, which were held in Lagos, Nigeria, the previous year. Other previous winners include Wizkid, who took home the Young Person of the Year honor in 2017, Davido, and Burna Boy, who both won the music category in 2017 and 2019.
