TWICE’s “With YOU-th” Becomes Their First No. 1 Album On Billboard 200 Chart

Korean pop group, TWICE’s “With YOU-th” has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 list (dated March 9) with 95,000 equivalent album units gained in the United States in the week ending February 29, according to Luminate, primarily from traditional album sales. It is the Korean pop ensemble’s sixth top ten, all of which have been obtained consecutively.

In fewer than three years, With YOU-th is the third No. 1 song by an all-female trio on the Billboard 200. BLACKPINK with Born Pink (Oct. 1, 2022) was the previous all-female group to reach the top of the list with their second EP, “Get Up,” which was released on August 5, 2023. Before them was NewJeans.

All three artists are Korean pop groups that debuted at the top of the charts with their separate albums, which were all their first No. 1s. The American act Danity Kane, whose second album, Welcome to the Dollhouse, debuted at No. 1 on the April 5, 2008 chart, was the last all-female group to top the chart prior to BLACKPINK.

With YOU-th’s 95,000 units earned in the tracking week that concluded on February 29, album sales total 90,000; this makes it the week’s best-selling album and the greatest sales week for an album in 2024. It also debuts at No. 1 on Top Album Sales. With YOU-th, which is primarily in Korean, is the first album of 2024 and the 24th album in general to reach number one.
