Mr. Ibu, born John Okafor on October 17, 1961, is a veteran Nigerian actor and comedian from Umunekwu Village in Eziokwe, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, South East, Nigeria. Mr. Ibu is regarded as one of Nigeria’s most outstanding comic actors. His comedic acting is frequently defined by idiocy, amusing imbecility, and a stark separation from reality.
Mr. Ibu attended primary school in the community before moving on to Delta State for secondary school. He then attended the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) in Enugu to study Mass Communication.
