Adekunle Gold Makes An Appearance On The NBA 2K24 “2K Beats” Soundtrack

The most recent NBA 2K24 “2K Beats” soundtrack includes a song by Nigerian musician Adekunle Gold. Rapper J. Cole chose the music, which includes a combination of well-known and up-and-coming performers.

The list featured songs by Baby, Clipse, J. Cole, and Benny The Butcher in addition to Adekunle Gold’s “Okay.” Millions of players worldwide engage in the popular basketball simulation game, NBA 2K24.

Adekunle Gold joins Burna Boy, who was included on the main soundtrack along with Lil Wayne, Central Cee, Steve Lacy, and the 2023 breakout star Ice Spice, as the second Nigerian to appear on the NBA2K24 soundtrack.

The fact that Adekunle Gold’s music is featured on the soundtrack is evidence of the rising popularity of Afrobeats throughout the world. Days prior, on January 12, 2024, the Book of Clarence soundtrack was published, on which he collaborated with Doja Cat and Kodak Black.
