Bella Okagbue, star of Big Brother Naija, has spoken out against bullying on social media. This is not the first time the reality star has spoken out against cyberbullying. She stated that she is tired of being made fun of online and that she is uncomfortable with it. Bella also bemoaned being made fun of for her voice, body, accent, and “everything.” She emphasized that because she is Nigerian and her accent is Nigerian, fans should respect her.
On her X (Twitter) handle on Wednesday, Bella wrote,
“I’m constantly body shamed, voice shamed, accent shamed, and shamed for everything I do. Enough is enough. I’m Nigerian and I sound Nigerian!!! Let me be!”
Concerned netizens took to the comments section and made known their views on the subject matter, pointing out that she should focus more on those who love her and accept that fame sometimes comes at a price.
