Big Sean Drops His New Single, “Precision,” And Discloses His Upcoming Tiny Desk Appearance

For the first time in a long time, American rapper, Big Sean, is back with brand-new music and a tease for a Tiny Desk Concert!

The new track, “Precision,” which was produced by FNZ, Teddy Walton, Aaron Bow, Tom Kahre, and TDE’s Zacari, was released by the former G.O.O.D. Music rapper on Friday, March 22. Big Sean also shared a snapshot from the recording session to preview his upcoming performance on NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert series in addition to the new tune.

Detroit vocalist Eryn Allen Kane, who just won two Grammys for her work with Future and André 3000 on Killer Mike’s “Scientists & Engineers,” was also a part of the live performance.

2020 saw the release of Big Sean’s last album, Detroit 2, which included songs from Nipsey Hussle, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Post Malone, Eminem, and Lil Wayne. In its first week, the project sold about 103,000 album-equivalent units, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Elliott Wilson posted a video of Sean rapping over a J Dilla beat on Instagram, and in the comments, he announced that he would be releasing his new album this year. Big Sean had earlier revealed to the public in January that he had “finished” his new album, which DJ Khaled had previously announced.
