BLACKPINK’s Lisa Set To Make Acting Debut In ‘The White Lotus’ S3
The latest report by Variety confirms that Lisa, a member of the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK, will be making her acting debut in the third season of the HBO series The White Lotus. Lisa, a Thai singer-rapper, will be shooting the series in her home country of Thailand, which will be set across multiple locations, including Ko Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok. Although the creators have kept Lisa’s role under wraps, the upcoming season will feature a new cast, including Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Poser, Leslie Bibb, and others.
The White Lotus season three is expected to premiere in 2025, as teased in a ‘One to Watch’ trailer released by HBO’s streaming service, Max. Lisa’s acting debut is a significant milestone for the K-pop idol, and it follows BLACKPINK’s Jennie, who appeared on the now-cancelled HBO series The Idol last year. In addition to her acting debut, Lisa recently launched her own management company called LLOUD, which she described as a “platform to showcase my vision in music and entertainment.” Lisa is the third BLACKPINK member to launch her label, following Jennie, who established Odd Atelier (OA) in November 2023, and Jisoo, who reportedly set up an agency called Blissoo with her brother.
