Blueface Denies Being In Protective Custody And Enjoying Special Treatments While Incarcerated

Reports that Blueface was placed in jail’s protective custody have been refuted by the controversial rapper. It was claimed earlier this week that the embattled rapper was given preferential treatment at Los Angeles County Sheriff Men’s Central Jail, including having his own cell. The “Thotiana” crooner reportedly gets access to a television and is permitted to spend several hours each week in educational seminars, according to media house TMZ.

According to the site, Blueface was also being held apart from the other prisoners in “administrative segregation” “due to the threat presented against them, or the threat they present to the jail, other inmates, or personnel.” But in an audio recording of a jail phone call that went viral online on Tuesday, January 23, Blueface refuted the accusations. The 27-year-old says during the call:

“I will never, I repeat, I will never ever go PC [protective custody] .”

In connection with a 2021 assault case in which he and his group attacked a club bouncer, Blueface violated his probation and was jailed earlier in January. The rapper is probably going to stay behind bars until July. Although it’s unclear exactly how Blueface broke his probation at this point, his mother has blamed Jaidyn Alexis and Chrisean Rock, his baby mamas.
