Bobby Shmurda Hints At Potential Joint Mixtape With Rowdy Rebel

The release of Bodboy was Bobby Shmurda’s first endeavor since 2014. Bobby Shmurda was released from prison in February 2021 and immediately started to work while relishing his newfound freedom and devoting himself to music. Fans have been bugging the “Hot N*gga” singer about the release of his debut studio album, but before that, Shmurda released his EP, Bodboy.

In addition to talking about the album with Ebro Darden in-studio on Apple Music 1, Shmurda also discussed his bond with Rowdy Rebel. The rapper claims that he and Rowdy have enough songs to potentially put out a collaborative album. “We got a bunch of collabs that got to get cleared,” revealed Shmurda. “Hell yeah, tapes. Hell yeah, we still make music to this day. Last time we made a song together, like, I think last month, like two, three weeks ago. We still make songs. We got like over eight, nine songs, we could get a mixtape out right now.”

Bobby stated that they had a song together which was going to be the Rebel vs. Rowdy album’s lead single when Rowdy revealed it. The track appears to have included another artist who wasn’t cleared as well, though.
