The popular comedy series “Visa on Arrival” from Accelerate TV has returned for its third season this July 2023, and four episodes have already been released. Since its debut on Accelerate TV’s YouTube channel in 2021, the show has gained a large following and captured the attention of Nigerians worldwide.

This series, exclusively created by Bovi Ugboma for Accelerate TV, features a talented cast of comedians. Bovi Ugboma plays Officer Francis, while Anita Afoke Asuoha (known as Real Warri Pikin) stars as Officer Hope, Albert Oluwatoyin (Dat Warri Gal) as Officer Charity, and Temisan ‘Taymesan’ Emmanuel as Officer Okoro. Together, they portray unscrupulous visa officers in a satirical series based on a fictitious visa-issuing agency. Fans of comedy are sure to be entertained by this exciting show.

The series “Visa on Arrival” has gained over 12 million views on Accelerate TV’s YouTube channel in previous seasons. Fans enjoy the show for its cast, humorous situations, and witty exchanges between visa officers and applicants. The success of the comedy can be attributed to the talent of Bovi Ugboma as a writer and comedian, as well as the excellent performances of the lead actors who portray the visa-issuing officers. Recently, “Visa on Arrival” was nominated for two Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for “Best Series” and “Best Actress”, and it also won a gold award in the “Entertainment Film” category at the 2023 Pitcher Awards.
