Bryson Tiller Makes A Stunning Comeback With The Detroit-Influenced “Whatever She Wants”

After releasing his last single, “Outside,” in 2022, more than a year ago, Bryson Tiller has made a comeback with a new song and a promise of more to follow. The energetic, spend-it hymn “Whatever She Wants,” off his new album, features the Louisville native listing all the things he would do for a possible paramour.

The song is off his mixtape Slum Tiller, which he surreptitiously published a few months ago. J Dilla, a founding member of Slum Village, and Detroit music cultures such as techno are the main sources of inspiration for the mixtape. Reactivating his Twitter account, Tiller realized that the platform had undergone a name change.

He then made a brilliantly cheeky comeback to the spotlight, promising to update it on his phone as soon as possible. Additionally, he took some time to interact with followers in a charming, nostalgic manner reminiscent of the days gone by, before right-wing troll accounts could charge eight dollars to force you to view their angry, unintelligent rant before anything else.

Furthermore, Tiller had teamed up with Diddy for “Gotta Move On,” released in 2022. The song had remixes by Cool & Dre, Fabolous and Tory Lanez, and Ashanti and Yung Miami.
