However, Burna Boy again makes headlines for revealing an exciting comment by American rapper J. Cole. After the two artists linked up in the studio, Burna Boy claimed that J. Cole said he felt like late rap icon 2Pac had reincarnated in Africa and come back as him.
The Nigerian Grammy winner recently appeared on a podcast where he shared the intriguing incident. He recounted that he was in a studio with a well-known Hip Hop artist, accompanied by some basketball players, when the artist made a statement that caught his attention. He revealed that the Hip Hop artist had turned to him and remarked, “This ni**a is Tupac”. The Nigerian artist was perplexed and looked around, trying to make sense of the statement. Then, the “Love Yours” crooner pointed at him, indicating that he was the one being compared to the legendary Tupac.
According to Burna, J. Cole’s words implied that he meant, as he repeated himself, that,
“Burna Boy is Tupac reincarnated in Africa”
