Coco Jones, an actress, singer, and budding R&B sensation, has debuted her mesmerizing new music video for “Double Back,” a track from her well-received High Standardz/Def Jam Recordings EP, “What I Didn’t Tell You.” The video debuted today on the MTV channel network and the Times Square billboard for Viacom.
“Double Back” is the follow-up to “ICU,” a sensual R&B smash climbing the Billboard Hot 100 list swiftly and earned a spot in the Top 10 of Urban Mainstream radio. Pure Leaf Iced Tea is featured in the “Double Back” music video, showing Coco’s continued partnership with the company. The duo has released “As Seen on Pure Leaf,” a witty infomercial touting the subtly sweet power of saying “no,” inspired by Pure Leaf Lower Sugar Iced Tea.
Coco thanked Pure Leaf for their ongoing support and the chance to collaborate by incorporating them in the “Double Back” music video. Coco’s career has soared from her early days as a Disney star to her present role as “Hilary Banks” in Peacock’s “Bel-Air,” the Fresh Prince revival, with number-one singles and a standout appearance on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Coco was recognized as the BET Amplified Artist of the Month, a program highlighting brilliant and upcoming female musicians in recognition of Women’s History Month. The “What I Didn’t Tell You Deluxe EP” was released in January and featured four brand-new songs and “Simple,” a collaboration between Babyface and Coco.
Through her music and on-screen performances, Coco Jones has won the hearts of millions of people with her strong and relatable R&B sound. She has gained a devoted following on social media as a proud, accomplished, dark-skinned Black woman advocating for representation in the entertainment industry. With the beginning of her music career, Coco’s journey is only now getting started.
