David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who has just announced to his fans on Twitter that he has surpassed artists such as Burna Boy, Wizkid,and Rema to become the most streamed Afrobeat musician worldwide for 2023 on Spotify. In that particular post that has received notice, Davido published three charts. According to one, he became the Afrobeat musician with the highest global stream volume in 2023. As the most streamed song globally for 2023, his song “Unavailable” was featured on the second chart.
Last but not least, Davido’s classic album “Timeless” became the most streamed Afrobeat album worldwide. He captioned his tweet with “Hat Trick,” sharing it with his fans with excitement. While some people attacked the artist, a large number of admirers and well-wishers crowded the comment area throughout the celebration, wishing the musician well and recognizing his hard work.
