The 30-year-old attended Oxford from 2021 to 2022 and received his degree in March. The university claimed that the fund would assist students in achieving excellence and addressing “unexpected and urgent” financial needs. The funds were given to the organization’s Africa Oxford Initiative, which seeks to increase the proportion of African students pursuing postgraduate degrees.
