Drake Fans Killed By A Careless Driver Following His St. Louis Show

Drake’s recent show in St. Louis was tainted by tragedy, when two fans got killed by reckless motorist on their way home. The reckless driver had crossed a red light after the rapper’s performance at the Enterprise Center, killing mother and daughter Laticha Bracero and Alyssa Cordova in the early hours of February 14.

A car accelerates into view, blows a red light, and runs over the two women on a crossing, according to footage of the incident that TMZ was able to obtain. Part of his “It’s All a Blur — Big As the What?” Tour with J. Cole and Lil Durk, Drake was playing his second show in two nights in St. Louis when the women were heading out.

Her daughter passed away at a hospital after the mother passed away at the scene, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. About the incident, Drake has not yet responded. Suspect Monte Henderson, according to St. Louis police, had already run multiple red lights and been driving in his SUV for a few blocks. The event resulted in injuries to other pedestrians.

Within moments of the collision, Henderson, 22, was taken into custody. Reports say he was going above seventy miles per hour. He is facing charges of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of armed criminal activity. Since then, Henderson has bonded out of prison after the judge denied the prosecution’s request to keep him behind bars on the grounds that he posed a risk to the public.
