Tyler, The Creator Unveils His First-Ever Louis Vuitton Collection

Tyler, The Creator has unveiled his inaugural collection for Louis Vuitton, thanking Pharrell at the reveal. On Wednesday, February 21, the IGOR rapper used Instagram to introduce his first joint project with the upscale clothing brand, of which Skateboard P serves as the Men’s Creative Director.

Aside from his LV identification card that says “Sir Tyler Okonma,” Tyler’s post featured pictures of him hanging out with Pharrell, whom he has long acknowledged as his main inspiration. Tyler, The Creator provided a closer look at his first-ever Louis Vuitton collection in a follow-up Instagram post.

The collection features preppy-inspired pieces like a travel chess set, cricket sweater, short suit, windbreaker, puffer jacket, sandals, and a Courrier Lozine 110 trunk valued at €68,000 (roughly $73,500).

Additionally, he disclosed that the collection is scheduled to arrive on March 21. In a statement to GQ, Tyler, The Creator provided some details about the collection, stating that his primary goal was to create stuff he would wear on a daily basis.

Tyler’s latest fashion statement, after the success of his apparel company GOLF le FLEUR* and his partnerships with Converse and Lacoste, is the Louis Vuitton collection. Tyler is always pushing himself to new limits, and this year he’ll be performing as one of the top headliners at Coachella for the first time.
