The most-streamed rapper and artist on Spotify, across all credits, is none other than Canadian rapper Drake!

Rappers and pop stars in the twenty-first century are pushing the boundaries of their commercial potential thanks to the career of one of the best-selling artists of all time, Drake. The Grammy-winning Canadian singer-songwriter achieves another historic milestone when she becomes the first artist on Spotify to reach 95 billion plays overall.

Drake accomplished the remarkable achievement of obtaining over 95 billion Spotify plays across all of the songs he has featured on. This information was made public by Chart Data, a music charting company.

Drake has been one of the most streamed musicians in the world for more than 10 years, and his albums often land at the top of the Billboard 200 chart. After his hit track “First Person Shooter” featuring J Cole peaked at number one on the list in 2023, he tied Michael Jackson’s record for the most No. 1 songs (13), ever by a solo male artist.

Drake ranked among the world’s most streamed artists on Spotify in 2015, 2016, and 2018, sharing the platform with Ed Sheeran, Bad Bunny, and Taylor Swift, among others. Drake was the fourth most streamed artist on Spotify in 2023 after ranking third in 2022.

Drake currently has over 95 billion streams internationally, surpassing Taylor Swift as the most streamed artist overall. Drake has around 84 million monthly listeners, which is the third most globally.
