Dua Lipa Shares Post On The Making Of Incoming Album ‘Radical Optimism’

In a recent Instagram post, Dua Lipa shared an exclusive behind-the-scenes video, giving her fans a sneak peek into the making of her highly anticipated album, ‘Radical Optimism’. The upcoming album, which has been inspired by a blend of “psychedelia, trip-hop, and Britpop,”  is all set to release on May 3. Lipa has already unveiled two singles from the album, ‘Houdini’ and ‘Training Season’. The ‘One Kiss’ singer has now taken her fans on an immersive journey, inviting them to explore her creative process more profoundly. The video, which she titled’ Chapter One,’ hints at more such videos to follow.

The footage showcases the Grammy Award-winning artist at work in the recording studio, discussing the album’s creative direction and her influences. The video offers a rare glimpse into the making of an album, making it an exciting watch for music lovers and Dua Lipa fans alike.

“It’s the beauty of the chaos and trying to stay calm through it. Listening over and over and feeling like, ‘How do I want to tell this story?’,”

Lipa is seen photographing the cover artwork for ‘Training Season’ while explaining the process.

“I always go for the most upbeat ones to introduce people to the record. I can just keep on dancing and keep people dancing.”

Dua Lipa shared that she collaborated with a group of talented artists, including Kevin Parker from Tame Impala, Danny L. Harle, Tobias Jesso Jr., and Caroline Ailin, for an extended period to produce her album. During the process, Lipa had to rework several parts of the album, and she mentioned that it was a challenging yet exciting experience. She also expressed that working together for a long time made it feel like they were all part of a band.
