Dua Lipa Reveals She Wrote “Nearly 100 Songs” For Her New Album On Jimmy Kimmel Live

Dua Lipa, the talented 28-year-old singer, has worked tirelessly for years on her upcoming album. In fact, she has written an impressive 97 songs for it! She kept all her ideas and lyrics in a simple notebook she purchased from a CVS store in the US. Although she admits she loves shopping at CVS, she now wishes she had bought a fancier notebook.

During her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Dua shared that she can determine whether a song will be a hit right after she starts writing it. She also revealed that she has repeatedly rewritten every piece on this album until she feels it’s perfect. Unlike her previous records, she has put in a lot of effort to make sure every song meets her high standards. Dua plans to release her new album later this year, and it’s no surprise that she has every song she has written for the album in her trusted notebook from CVS. When asked if all 97 songs are good, Dua candidly replied that about 80 are not as impressive as the rest. Fans will eagerly await her upcoming album following rave reviews of her “Training Season” single, released recently.
