Fireboy DML Seeks Heartbreak That Would Serve As Inspiration For His Upcoming Album
YBNL signee and Afrobeats sensation, Fireboy DML, is yearning for the kind of heartache that will spur him on to create the next record after the release of his forthcoming album, which should tentatively drop this year.
Records that create a strong sense of intimacy between the listener and the artist are the most influential. Deeply personal tracks are usually the ones that have the biggest impact. In a recent social media post, Fireboy DML disclosed his future plans. After his upcoming fourth studio album is released, he plans to embark on a personal journey, as he has indicated.

In a previous interview with Billboard Magazine, Fireboy had disclosed that his fourth album would be out this year. The album’s title, release date, track listing, and featured performers, however, have not yet been revealed.
DML disclosed plans to enter the film business this year in the same interview. He disclosed that he always receives compliments of being “too dramatic,” which helped inspire his decision to branch out into the film world.
The artist added that while he had demonstrated some acting prowess in a few of his music videos, he will now be making his feature film debut this year.
