ScHoolboy Q Talks About Rap, Golf Winnings, Others On Podcast

It’s always fascinating to learn about our favourite celebrities’ hobbies and passions outside of their profession. ScHoolboy Q is an immensely talented artist who has faced challenges in his professional life but continues to inspire others with his passion for both music and sports. The well-known rapper has frequently spoken out about his love for golfing. In fact, he’s the most notorious golfer in all of hip-hop and even collaborated with a PGA Tour video game a few years ago.

In a recent appearance on Lil Yachty’s podcast, ScHoolboy Q opened up about how he funded his time between new rap releases with the money he made from golf. He said that he loves rapping, but playing golf also brought him a considerable amount of income. However, during the conversation, he also shared a disheartening story about how he had to decline numerous endorsement deals because of alleged racism in the industry. He revealed that he felt pressure to appear “more black” to fit in and rejected those deals.

ScHoolboy Q’s latest album, “Blue Lips,” has received a lot of praise from both fans and critics. This was a refreshing shift from his least popular album to date, “Crash Talk,” released in 2019. Since the album’s release, he’s been making appearances on various shows and podcasts, reminding everyone how funny he is with his viral moments. The album features an impressive roster of talent, and ScHoolboy Q revealed that he was working on a song with A$AP Rocky for the record. Although the collaboration eventually fell through when both were too busy, we’re sure that their fans would have loved to hear what they were working on.
