Temmie Ovwasa, commonly known as YBNL Princess, a Nigerian musician, has levelled new charges against singer Olamide. Olamide, her former record label boss, she claimed, cheated on his wife. Temmie, who was formerly signed to YBNL Nation, made the announcement on her social media page just days after detailing her experiences with the company and why she decided to quit.
Temmie also accused him of putting her in a vulnerable position by engaging her in his affairs with Maria Okan, a young student and On-Air-Personality. There were unsubstantiated rumours about Maria’s pregnancy in 2019, with suspicion regarding Olamide’s involvement, however neither party confirmed the paternity allegations.
This comes after the singer from Kwara said on social media that Olamide’s wife used her as an errand girl and frequently reminded her of how her life had changed in Lagos. She added that anytime they went out, Adebukunmi called her “broke” and publicly humiliated her.
However, the former YBNL princess admonished against spreading rumors about Olamide and claimed that he had not assaulted anyone physically or sexually. Temmie continued by stating that Olamide’s irresponsible handling of her music career, the label’s lack of structure, her interpersonal issues with Olamide’s wife, as well as other related challenges, were the root of her complaints.
