Hospitalized Nollywood Actor Amaechi Muonagor Pleads For Assistance
The seasoned Nollywood actor Amaechi Muonagor has pleaded with Nigerians for financial support following being stricken down by a sudden stroke. The actor was captured on camera revealing how the stroke left him immobile while lying in a hospital bed.
But since there were no signs of improvement, his condition was transferred to Nnewi Teaching Hospital in Anambra, where he is presently being treated. Amaechi continued, explaining that he had just finished a demanding shoot on a movie set with his colleagues Emeka Ani, Patience Ozokwo, Rita Edochie, and Ebele Okaro seven months prior, on a day doomed to catastrophe.
He was about to get into his car and drive away when he was abruptly afflicted by a crippling stroke. The actor disclosed that his stroke condition has been becoming worse since that day. He is now paralyzed in half of his body and is unable to walk or move his legs on his own.
He expressed regret for not disclosing this information to the public sooner because he had no idea the illness would last for so long. But he pleaded with Nigerians to assist him in raising funds for his medical care. He disclosed that his paralysis has resulted in notable swelling in certain areas of his body and prevented him from eating.
