Jack Antonoff Doesn’t Like Ye; Has No Interest In Collaboration, Gives Reason

Jack Antonoff’s criticism of Kanye West is still going strong on and offline. In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, the record producer reiterated his belief that Ye is a “b*tch,” also adding a tweet that he implied Ye “just needs his diaper changed so badly.” Regarding the possibility of working with the rapper in the future, Antonoff said,

“It’s been a long time since I would’ve taken Kanye’s call. I’m so incredibly bored when someone doesn’t have the sauce anymore, so they go elsewhere to shock. It’s just a remarkable waste of space.”

Talking about Antonoff’s friendship with Taylor Swift brought up Kanye and his recent rumored misunderstanding with Swift. Antonoff also discussed standing up for Swift in the face of criticism back in 2022 from Blur leader Damon Albarn. In that particular case, after accusing Swift of not writing her own songs, Albarn later expressed regret for the remarks and apologized.

Antonoff told the publication that he didn’t like Ye and that he thought Swift was very talented. He opined that his “beef” with Kanye was because his questioning of Swift’s talent, “is like challenging someone’s faith in God. You just don’t go there.”

“I’m a little b*tch sometimes,”

“But you come after my friend Taylor, you’re toast to me.”

For Swift’s next album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ Antonoff was most recently named as a collaborator and the project is scheduled for release on April 19, 2024.
As for Kanye, his collaboration with Ty Dolla Sign on “Vultures 1” has continued to trend in music news as it garners more streams and climbs the charts for the music quality or for the controversies surrounding it; for example, on his song with Rich The Kid and Playboi Carti, “Carnival,” he name-dropped Swift and Swifites are not lying down on that one across social media.
