Joeboy Writes Mr. Eazi A Touching Message

Afrobeats musician Mr. Eazi received an emotional letter from Nigerian singer Joeboy.

Joeboy, one of the biggest Afrobeats stars in the music industry, recently sent an emotional statement on social media thanking Mr. Eazi, a man who greatly influenced the course of his career. This sincere letter of gratitude to Mr. Eazi was sent as a thank you note to his former label head.

Joeboy wrote in his message, expressing how much he has valued the opportunity and guidance that Mr. Eazi has provided for him over the past five years.

Joeboy’s new record label marks the beginning of a new chapter in his career in the music business. Joeboy, who was formerly signed to EMPAWA, has joined Warner Music and started his record label, “Young Legend,” according to an X post by music journalist Joey Akan.

As part of the new agreement, Joeboy will establish his own entertainment company, Young Legend, and become the latest African musician to be featured as a Warner Music flagship artist.

After five fruitful years, during which he put out two EPs (Love & Light and Body, Soul & Spirit), two albums (Somewhere Between Beauty & Magic and Body & Soul), and a slew of hit singles and features, Joeboy is leaving EMPAWA. He had over 2 billion cumulative streams across DSPs at the time of his departure.
