Justin Timberlake’s ‘Selfish’ Makes Top 20 As It Lands Highest Hot 100 Debut In Six Years

Justin Timberlake is holding no prisoners on his comeback to the music scene, and his latest effort has been rewarded with a significant position in the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart. The new single “Selfish” by Justin Timberlake has made a powerful debut at No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking his highest debut in six years. The song has received a tremendous response from the audience, with 22.4 million in all-format radio airplay, 11.5 million official streams, and 10,000 downloads sold in its first week, according to Luminate. The song is gaining popularity across multiple radio formats and has already climbed to No. 13 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart and No. 17 on the Pop Airplay chart. It has also debuted at No. 14 on Adult Contemporary and No. 33 on Rhythmic Airplay. On the all-format Radio Songs chart, it debuts at No. 33.

Justin Timberlake’s first solo song to chart was “Like I Love You” in 2002, which peaked at No. 11. He has achieved five solo No.1s, including “SexyBack” (for seven weeks in 2006), “My Love,” featuring T.I. (three weeks in 2006), “What Goes Around… Comes Around” (one week in 2007), “Give It to Me” (by Timbaland featuring Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake, two weeks in 2007), and “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” (one week in 2016).
