Tobi Anidugbe, better known by his stage name Kizz Daniel, is an Afrobeats artist who has amassed half a billion streams on the well-liked music streaming service Boomplay. According to photos posted on Boomplay’s Instagram page on Monday, the company gave the artist a plaque to commemorate the achievement. Days prior, the singer’s smash song “Buga” earned him his first 100 million views on YouTube.

Because it was named the top song in Nigerians’ Google searches for this year, the song “Buga” has gained popularity among younger and older audiences since its release in May 2022. Kizz Daniel also delighted the crowd at the World Cup Fans Festival in Qatar last month, making Nigerians proud.
