With the return of FS1’s “Undisputed,” sports commentator Skip Bayless has found himself back in the spotlight. The veteran personality made a comeback after a two-month break, joined by a new group of former NFL greats, including Richard Sherman, Keyshawn Johnson, and Michael Irvin. The addition of these former NFL greats brings a fresh perspective and dynamic to the show, as they provide expert analysis and firsthand experience. With their combined knowledge and Bayless’ controversial take, “Undisputed” promises to deliver engaging sports debates and captivating discussions for its viewers.
On the first episode of the new format, Bayless declared,
“This is the greatest morning of my career!” “This is about to be the greatest show I’ve ever been a part of.”
Lil Wayne contributed his vocals to the new theme song for the show in addition to being part of the new crew. “Good Morning” replaced 2016’s “No Mercy.” The latter culminated after frequent collaborations with Bayless and was released by Cash Money Records.
Wayne rapped on the song.
“Skip the BS and put everybody after BS. P.S. all I spit is F-A-C-T-S. The best, Skip Bayless, yeah, say less. Top of the top, apex, everyday flex,”
In another place, he said,
“If you ain’t got no haters, you ain’t poppin’, I ain’t tryin’ to hate. Let’s have a Jordan and LeBron debate, I got time of day. Drippin’ on the chain, my diamonds say what they gotta say. If you think it’s a game, I commentate, I ain’t got to play. On in the morning, I own my opponent.”
In a recent announcement earlier this month, Bayless revealed that Wayne will join him for a weekly segment. This exciting news has sparked anticipation among fans eagerly waiting to see what insightful discussions will take place between the two. The announcement has been met with much enthusiasm and praise, as both Bayless and Wayne are well-respected figures and are sure to bring their A-game to each segment.
“Wayne has agreed every Friday going forward to do a segment with me live. He might not always be in the studio, depending on his schedule. But he’s going to be joining me every Friday.”
“If he’s hot or rolling, maybe we’ll keep him on for a couple of segments if he has the time. That you can look forward to. He is so deep when it comes to sports. He doesn’t yell or scream, but he gets emotional.”
