“Made In Lagos” By Wizkid Returns To The Billboard World Album Chart

Wizkid’s celebrated album, “Made in Lagos,” has managed to land on the Billboard World Album Chart for a record-breaking five years and running!

The critically praised album has achieved a unique feat: it is the first African album to chart on the Billboard World Albums chart for five consecutive years, leaving Wizkid’s mark on music history. This accomplishment only goes to emphasize the album’s enduring relevance in the music industry as well as Wizkid’s lasting global appeal.

It would interest you to know that from 2020 up until 2024, “Made in Lagos” took up residence on the Billboard World Album chart like a stubborn tenant. And for an album that was released in 2020 still making waves five years after, it just shows the unstoppable influence of great, evergreen music.

The groundbreaking LP also bagged several nominations, including some from the highly contested Grammys for Best Global Music Album and Best Global Music Performance at the 64th Grammy Awards.
