Mayorkun Is Scheduled To Drop A New EP, “Love…For Free”

Mayorkun is back with an announcement for a new EP named ‘Love…For Free’ after a two-year hiatus and no new album.

Since his last album, which was released in 2021, the Mayor of Lagos has been on pause. According to Album Talks HQ, the EP will be released on October 19. The little album has five songs: Lose Control ft. Blxckie, Thermo, For Daddy, My Energy, and Lowkey!

Lowkey is a new tune from the Mayor of Lagos’ ‘Love…For Free’ EP. This is his second song for 2023. To mark the release of Lowkey, the mayor shared a video clip on Instagram with the caption, “From the deepest part of my heart to you….New music ‘Lowkey!’ out at midnight.”

This new release has pleased many followers and supporters. The Certified Loner musician prepares to appear on stage at Davido’s annual A.W.A.Y. event, which will take place on November 18, 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia. Victony, Lojay, King Promise, Musa Keys, DJ Spinall, E Cool, and TXC are among the other performers.

Davido also reacted to the release of former signee Mayorkun’s current track, named ‘Lowkey,’ in a recent post on his social media account. David turned to social media to upload an image of himself listening to the song with the remark, “New @Mayorkun.” This isn’t the first time the pair has shown mutual respect, love, and support for one another.
