Megan Thee Stallion, Tyla And Other Performers Billed For “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” 2023

A fresh roster of performers for the eagerly awaited “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” extravaganza has been revealed by Dick Clark Productions. The star-studded event is scheduled to broadcast live on ABC from New York on December 31 at 8 p.m. EST. Among the further acts that were disclosed today (Dec. 21) are Megan Thee Stallion and Tyla.

South Africa’s adored singer, Tyla is scheduled to perform two songs for the occasion: “Truth or Dare” and her viral hit “Water.” Megan is supposedly working on a special medley. They join an already stellar cast that includes, among others, Janelle Monáe, Doechii, Reneé Rapp, Ludacris, and Coco Jones.

For his 19th hosting gig, Ryan Seacrest is back, and Rita Ora tags along. After Liza Koshy and Ciara, who recently had a kid, left the show, Jeannie Mai, a Los Angeles native, took over.

With the success of her breakout song “Water,” Tyla is swiftly establishing herself as a festival mainstay. Travis Scott and Marshmello have done a remix of the track. In November of 2024, the song also received a nomination for the Grammy Awards.

In addition, her soon-to-be self-titled debut album, will be released in March 2024. Megan, on the other hand, released “Cobra,” her solo return record, last month. This also marked her first release following her split from 1501 Entertainment.
