Mercy Eke Says She Got Offered “Prize Money” Not Appear On Show
Mercy Eke, a popular TV show BBNaija All Stars participant, recently made a surprising revelation. She shared that her boyfriend had offered to give her a staggering sum of N120 million if she decided to opt out of the show. She said the payment would be made in instalments over the next three months. This news has sparked much interest and discussion on social media, with many people expressing their opinions and making sarcastic comments.
In discussion with co-star Alex, BBNaija All Stars contestant Mercy Eke shared that her boyfriend had promised to give her the prize money of N120 million. Alex mentioned that she and Kiddwaya share a mutual friend, and Mercy disclosed that she and Frodd also have a familiar acquaintance who happens to know her boyfriend.
Furthermore, the previous winner of BBNaija Pepper Dem, who won a cash prize money of N30 Million plus other incentives to reach a total of 60, disclosed that her partner had pledged to grant her the entire prize money of N120 million if she refrained from participating in the show. The reality star clarified that her boyfriend proposed to pay her N40 million every three months in three instalments, solely for her to abstain from BBNaija All-Stars.
Mercy declined his proposal and opted to attend the show because she desired to relive the experience. In her words:
“Frodd knows my boyfriend; that’s the worse part. My man told me he’s going to give me the money in 3 months, he said he would give me 40, 40 million but I wanted this, I just wanted to come here but as I don come now, 1 naira I won’t get. He said, ‘In three months, I will give you N120 million’.”
The recent revelation by Mercy about her partner offering her a large sum of money to avoid appearing on BBNaija All Stars has sparked discussion on social media.
