Recently, Nigerian artist Peter Okoye of the P-Square band responded to the divorce drama involving Achraf Hakimi, a defender for Paris Saint-Germain. Social media was awash on Friday with news of the wealthy footballer’s divorce from his wife, Hiba Abouk. According to reports, when Hakimi’s wife filed for divorce, she made an offer for half of his assets but was rejected because all of his assets had been bought in his mother’s name.

Many social media users, mostly guys, praised the Moroccan for his action. Mr. P, however, did not concur with the prevailing viewpoint. He posted on his Twitter account that individuals who were praising the footballer should have wed their mothers instead. According to Peter Okoye, it is crucial to consider both sides of the couple’s divorce.

The footballer may not owe his wife any money legally, but that does not mean that he should be exempt from any emotional obligations that may potentially result from the marriage. He also contends that we shouldn’t disregard the value of family and fidelity in marriage, regardless of whether the law forbids it. He also suggested against marrying a wife if you can’t trust her. The singer added that people need to remember that their mother is also someone’s wife.
