While presenting on Netflix’s “Rep Your Flag,” John Boyega discussed some of his favorite things about Nigeria.

When asked who his favorite musician is, John Boyega stated that Wizkid is his personal favorite, however he also like Davido and Burna Boy. Wizkid, on the other hand, is the musician whose career he has watched the most closely.

John Boyega’s appreciation for Wizkid’s music and Afrobeats extends to his films, as he requested that the makers of ‘Pacific Rim’ include Wizkid’s 2017 single ‘Daddy Yo’ on the film’s soundtrack.

John Boyega also adores Nollywood and has previously stated that he trained with the famed Mike Bamiloye’s “Mount Zion Films” as a young adult in the UK. Boyega’s favorite Nigerian film is the 2003 classic ‘Blood Sisters,’ starring famous actresses Omotola Ekehinde and Genevieve Nnaji.
