Nollywood’s Destiny Etiko Shares Chat With Impostors Who Hacked Patience Ozokwor’s WhatsApp And Tried To Defraud Her
In recent events involving members of the Nollywood industry, it appeared that imposters had taken control of Patience Ozokwor’s WhatsApp account and were attempting to swindle some of her colleagues. Destiny Etiko shared on social media how she was on the verge of sending the scammer N200,000 after they declined to send a voice message for confirmation. Uche Jombo claimed in the comments section that the same con artist tried to con her out of N300,000.
Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko recently shared on her official Instagram page about a con artist who had hacked the WhatsApp account of her senior colleague Patience Ozokwor, aka Mama G. The con artist, posing as Mama G, asked Destiny for cash aid in their discussion. Destiny claims that she was about to give N200,000 to the imposters when she had second thoughts and insisted they provide a voice message to confirm it was Patience. The seasoned actress had never before requested something like that, Destiny said.
Destiny Etiko shared her conversations with the con artist, saying,
“Pls be careful o Mama’s WhatsApp got hacked @patienceozokwo l almost sent 200k to them o. But decided to tell the guy to send me a voice note to confirm cos MAMA has never told me such b4 and the person stopped chatting me. Pls let us be guided”
In the comments, Uche Jombo claimed she almost sent the imposters N300,000. She stated, “They sent me the same message, but for 300K.”
Mama G also posted an alert about her hacked account on her Instagram page. The seasoned actress recently sent an update, saying she had recovered the account and was trying to identify the imposters.
