He’d bought the L.A. penthouse for 21 million in 2019, according to publicly available records, for it wouldn’t be a record payday if he should find a buyer at the current price.
The weekend’s penthouse, which comprises four bedrooms and eight bathrooms, spans, on the whole, 8,000 square feet. With its splendid panelings and numerous artworks, the penthouse could easily pass for an exhibition hub.
But it isn’t. it only gives clues to the tastes of a man who found fame spitting out the waters of his soul in what the world fancifully calls music – a man whose exasperation with the Grammy is as clear as daybreak
The weekend had a brilliant run last year and ended up splurging $70 million on a Bel-Air mega-mansion. It cannot be determined if the purchase of the mega-mansion is the reason for putting his penthouse on the market.
